Hello and welcome to Elegant Mind – an ever-evolving community for ambitious women to learn and grow, lift each other up, and ultimately, get the success and recognition we deserve.

My name is Yoana Karamitrova, HR Manager, career coach and women advocate who believes we all deserve to live a fulfilling work life rather than feel miserable and stuck in our jobs.

Aside from my blog, I am a graduate Occupational Psychologist, I work as an HR Manager in London and I am passionate about making the workplace a better place for all women. The work tips posts are tips-driven articles about the world of work and work dynamics based on actual academic research and my own experience. I will be providing you with psychological insights into topics such as adapting to change, building resilience, having developmental conversations with your manager, and so much more.

I’m also the mother of cheerful and cheeky Dominic and calm and relaxed Eric. I proudly manage to be a full-time professional and a happy and engaged mother. I write about my secrets in the Working Mothers section of the blog.

If there is a specific topic you would like to read about, do not hesitate to contact me using the form below or via any of my social media channels and send me your requests. I’m always willing to read about and research topics I haven’t explored before in order to give you unique insights.

Message me to say Hi! I’d love to hear from you and how I can add value to your work life.
